Shaun
CEO / President
Shaun Geronimo is the founder of ACASA Home Care Roseville and a proud U.S. Army Veteran with a lifelong passion for serving seniors and supporting families. His journey in the home care industry began shortly after high school when he worked as a caregiver & scheduler, providing hands-on assistance and companionship to older adults. Through that experience, he developed a deep appreciation for the impact quality care can have on a person's dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Drawing on his caregiving experience, military service, career in sales and leadership skills, Shaun co-founded ACASA Home Care Roseville with his wife, Maria, an RN, to create a locally owned agency focused on delivering compassionate, personalized, and reliable in-home care in his community. Together, they have built a company centered on integrity, accountability, and treating every client like family.
Shaun remains actively involved in the day-to-day operations of ACASA, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and caregivers have the support they need to succeed. He is especially passionate about helping seniors age safely in place and assisting fellow veterans in accessing the care and resources they deserve.
Under Shaun's leadership, ACASA Home Care Roseville continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and families throughout South Placer County through trusted, compassionate, and community-focused care.
Maria, Registered Nurse
Director of Client Care
Maria is the co-owner and Director of Client Care at ACASA Home Care Roseville. Her passion for caregiving began at a young age while attending high school, where she worked as both a caregiver and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Those early experiences caring for seniors sparked a lifelong commitment to helping others and laid the foundation for her career in healthcare.
After high school, Maria continued pursuing her passion for patient care by advancing her nursing education and building a career dedicated to serving individuals with compassion, dignity, and respect. Throughout her nursing journey, she gained experience caring for patients with a wide range of medical conditions and developed a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and social challenges faced by seniors and their families.
While raising her four children, Maria dedicated several years to being a stay-at-home mother, focusing on her family while continuing to nurture her dream of one day owning a care-focused business that would make a meaningful impact in her community. Her experiences as both a caregiver and a mother strengthened her belief that every individual deserves personalized, compassionate care and the opportunity to remain safely in the comfort of their own home.
In 2023, Maria and her husband, Shaun, turned that vision into reality by founding ACASA Home Care Roseville. Maria oversees client care, caregiver training, care planning, and quality assurance. Her clinical expertise and hands-on approach help ensure that every client receives the highest level of personalized support.
Maria is passionate about advocating for seniors, supporting family caregivers, and helping older adults maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. Her unique combination of caregiving experience, nursing knowledge, and personal understanding of family caregiving continues to shape ACASA's mission of delivering compassionate, reliable, and exceptional in-home care throughout South Placer County.
